Belotero is the world’s first monophasic hyaluronic acid dermal filler with patented CPM technology and was recently approved by the FDA. Translation: Belotero can be injected more superficially (not as deeply) than the current dermal fillers that are available, without being visable. Superficial and fine lines can be treated with Belotero without threat of the bluish tint that can often occur with Restylane or Juvederm
Belotero’s unique structure completely fills the dermal spaces and produces a lasting natural cosmetic effect with smooth transitions between treated and untreated areas. The length of time that Belotero lasts depends on the individual and the area that has been treated.
In clinical studies 66% of patients continued to show a visible improvement 9 months after a single treatment. Most clients opt for follow-up treatments after 6 to 12 months to maintain a fresh, youthful appearance.
We are proud to have been chosen by Merz Aesthetics as one of the few offices it has initially selected to offer Belotero to. Learn more about Belotero at www.drgailhumble.com today, or fill out the form in the top left corner.

Hello, Dr. Humble…..I’m wondering if Belotero is good for tear troughs and under eyes. My skin is so thin there, I’ve been told other fillers will show through the skin. It’s looking really hollow. Hope you are well!
Mary
Yes Bolotero is wonderful for treatment in areas where the skin is especially thin. This is a new product with a limited launch, and we are lucky to be one of the few offices that can offer it at this time. Belotero is a hyaluronic acid like other fillers, but much finer in consistency than Restylane or Juviderm. It has the added benefit of not having a “tindle effect”. This is where a blue hue shows thru the skin after a hyaluronic acid is used to fill the under eye troughs or in the tear trough deformity. This is often a complaint of patients when they have hyaluronic acids placed under areas where the skin is especially thin and transparent.
Thank you for your inquiry, good to hear from you.
